Specimen Requirements
Specimen must arrive within 1 hour of draw, on ice.
0.5 - 2.0 mL of whole blood collected in a heparinized syringe, capped and placed on ice.

pH: 7.32 to 7.42
pCO2: 41 to 51
pO2: 25 to 40
cHCO3: 24.0 to 28.0
