Specimen Requirements
Throat swab obtained by vigorously swabbing the medium (Liquid Amies or Liquid Stuart) containing PLEDGET. Acceptable swab types are Rayon, Flocked Nylon, or Polyester. Samples may be stored refrigerated up to 14 days.
