Specimen Requirements
Specimen must arrive within 3 hours of draw.
Draw blood in a lavender-top (EDTA) tube(s) and place on wet ice immediately. (Do not use a tourniquet.) Spin down immediately and send 1 mL of EDTA plasma refrigerated.
