            <5.7      Non-Diabetic  

In diabetic patients, the following HbA1c ranges may be used for interpretation of results:

     HbA1c%    Glycemic Goal

            <8.0     Less Stringent Goal

            <7.0     General Goal

            <6.5     More Stringent Goal
